the Jockey Sandunes in OBX !!

Just got back from the Outer Banks North Carolina, one of my favorite places on earth! The Jockey Sand Ridge in Kitty Hawk is not only the largest dune in North America, but also where the Wright Brothers tested out their very first airplanes!! I love this place.. was so nice to visit

JOCKEY'S RIDGE is the tallest natural sand dune system in the Eastern United States. Located in Nags Head, it is one of the most significant landmarks on the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Always changing, always beautiful…

off to the Outer Banks!

I'm off to the Outer Banks, NC for the week -haven't been back there for years!! I found this old 35mm chrome that I took during the sunrise after camping on the beach in Corolla back in 2003.
It's so beautiful, I can't wait to reunite with old friends and celebrate Steve and Tracey's wedding!
