I ran in to a friend of mine that used to chill with the Haitian ambassador in DC. He used to work with C.A.R.E. They deploy emergency teams to distribute food, hygiene kits,water, and emergency health services. C.A.R.E. has been working in Haiti since 1954. Your donations get to Haiti most efficiently here.

Haiti ..

With the epically horrible news that keeps coming out of Haiti, I wanted to share some beauty. I made these images during one of my visits in 2006. These were taken on the island, 'Ille A Vache'. I keep wondering how those boys are doing. .. if they made it. .. . ... ....

I am organizing a fundraiser event. -Exact day and time, and number of artists contirbuting: TBA (but very soon).

All we can do, is what we can. . If you just can't wait until the fundraiser, or maybe just feeling generous, I hear that Doctors Without Borders is a good one to donate to- (as far as most of your actual donation gets to Haiti in real life)

This is a series of aerial shots that I took while flying a charter from Prince Au Prince to Ille A Vache Island, back in 2006. The islands suffered through a tragic earthquake today, which prompted me to revisit some old photos. From the series of hurricanes that blew through the islands in 2008, now this... I can only imagine how different everything must look now. I hope those that touched my life are ok..

The beautiful people of Haiti are in my prayers
